Wyatt Longley is a founding member and drummer of HIRE STRANGER. A Washington native raised on Bainbridge Island, Wyatt is the only member of the band originally from the state.

He first met fellow founding member Spencer Myles while playing in FarReaches, another musical project the two shared. Their creative connection eventually led them to explore a more melodic and emotionally driven style of alternative rock, laying the foundation for HIRE STRANGER.

Wyatt’s drumming is soulful, energetic, and deeply groove-oriented. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Gavin DeGraw, Earth, Wind & Fire, Breaking Benjamin, and Rage Against the Machine, he brings a diverse range of influences to the band’s sound. HIRE STRANGER is also the first project in which Wyatt has taken a leading creative role in shaping the rhythm and overall musical direction.
